Hands-on farm experience for young farmers β€” A summer adventure on the farm!

🌞 Jr. Farmers Summer Program

Ages 7-12 Β· Max 16 children

Your children will experience a hands-on introduction to all aspects of farm life this summer! From caring for animals to tending the gardens, your child will gain a well-rounded understanding of what it takes to keep a farm running β€” the perfect summer farm adventure.

Summer 2026 Semesters

June 21st - July 18th, 2026

July 19th - August 15th, 2026

Note: Drop-ins are limited to 1 guest per fully enrolled member per week.

Children will:

Animal Care

  • Learn basic animal care, including feeding, watering, and grooming a variety of farm animals.

Gardening

  • Explore the greenhouse and vegetable garden, discovering how food is grown and harvested during summer.

Farm Tasks

  • Assist with daily farm tasks like cleaning stalls, maintaining enclosures, and feeding animals. Tasks will be based on the farm's needs at the time, ensuring children get a true experience of daily farm life.

Animal Time

  • Engage with friendly farm animals in the petting zoo.

Hayride

  • Take a relaxing hayride around the farm.

What to bring: Packed lunch, water bottle, sunscreen, and hat. Wear sturdy boots or shoes that can get dirty.

Drop-off & Pick-up times: Provided upon registration

Price: $350 per semester

Summer note: Water breaks and shaded areas will be provided to keep everyone comfortable.
