Hands-on farm experience for young farmers

🌱 Spring Break Jr. Farmer Program

Ages 7-12 · Max 8 children

Your children will experience a hands-on introduction to all aspects of farm life! From caring for animals to tending the gardens, your child will gain a well-rounded understanding of what it takes to keep a farm running.

April 6th, 8th, 10th, 2026 · 3 Days

Children will:

Animal Care

  • Learn basic animal care, including feeding, watering, and grooming a variety of farm animals.

Gardening

  • Explore the greenhouse and vegetable garden, discovering how food is grown and harvested.

Farm Tasks

  • Assist with daily farm tasks like cleaning stalls, maintaining enclosures, and feeding animals. Tasks will be based on the farm's needs at the time, ensuring children get a true experience of daily farm life.

Animal Time

  • Engage with friendly farm animals in the petting zoo.

Hayride

  • Take a relaxing hayride around the farm.

What to bring: Packed lunch and water. Wear sturdy boots or shoes that can get dirty.

Drop-off: 8:00 AM at the parking lot gate · Pick-up: 12:00 PM
