The time between each newsletter in filled with ever changing events. With recent restrictions lifted we are easing back into our programs once again. This past month we have opened up the Petting Zoo and added back our barrel train ride, all with a limited amount of guests and safety modifications in place. Our Equestrian program is once again operating. We are now open six days a week (closed on Mondays) from 11 to 5:00 p.m.
The appreciation and joy the families have shared with us on having a place to bring their children has been our delight. The lack of socialization, outside stimulation, and play families have experience over the last few months, are bound to change childhood experiences. Just as we were happy to provide safe and convenient organic groceries early on, we are now happy to provide safe and stimulating fun for individuals and families. Nature can bring peace and balance unlike anything else.
Like everyone else, we are making modifications and adjustments in how we are operating our farm. We are adding back birthday parties and programmed events that will further support our mission. Our mission still remains the same. We are an animal rescue with a mission of inclusion. Our goal is to utilize our rescued animals and the working farm environment to nurture through nature.
With more businesses opening up, our one-time high demand Farmer’s Market has begun to diminish. As our own crops fill in more and more, we will continue with our Farmers Market, though on a smaller scale. Online ordering and pickup will continue for the convenience of our customers.
In addition, all our previous successful fundraising events were cancelled. Our final decision to cancel the Hoedown was made with everyone’s best interest in mind. We are currently brainstorming other possible fundraising events and more details will be sent out once they are complete. We always welcome leads for possible Corporate Sponsorships as well as major fundraising ideas. We thank you for your continued support, especially these last few months. We are grateful to all of you who have stood along side us through these difficult days.
As a nonprofit it is through donations, animal sponsorship or program sponsorship that allows us to be a sanctuary that fosters healing and hope. Thank you for believing in us!
